It’s like Schoolhouse Rock, only with less color.
The Utah House of Representatives surprised their constituents on Wednesday with a different kind of instructional video. It ain’t your daddy’s political process statement — it’s a rap video!
And yes. It is as bad as it sounds. It’s basically a bunch of totally tubular dudes and dudettes talking over Will Smith‘s Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme with lyrics like:
“I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there. I’ll tell you how a bill becomes law in this our chamber.”
Almost rhymed. So close. See the video Americans of all political persuasions can agree on (below)!
Our representatives have taken the time to explain how a law is made…with a surprise twist. Give it a listen and share so all your friends can know how laws are made! #utpol @GHughes51 @BradWilsonGOP @kimfcoleman @NormThurston @mikemckellutah @RepJimDunnigan @JohnKnotwellUT pic.twitter.com/KqaUSqOKtC
