United Airlines Victim David Dao Speaks Out For The First Time To Give A Somber Update On His Injuries

The United States has become united in bashing United Airlines over the brutal way they tried to “re-accommodate” a passenger on an overbooked flight.

Meanwhile, Dr. David Dao still hasn’t made it home to Elizabethtown, Kentucky, because he’s been stuck in Chicago recovering from Sunday’s incident.

The 69-year-old medical professional/former felon/poker champ spoke out about the incident for the first time on Tuesday — and he’s not in good spirits, unsurprisingly.

Dao told WLKY he is recovering in a Chicago hospital, noting that he wasn’t doing well since being yanked off his flight. When asked what his injuries were, he said “everything.” Ouch…

Based on the reaction, that’s probably how United is feeling right about now, too. The airline released at THIRD statement on Tuesday taking full responsibility for the incident.

Unfortunately, we think it’s gonna take a bit more than a Twitter apology and some free airfare to make it up to Dr. Dao.

You better send this poor man home on a fucking pegasus, United Airlines!
