It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Now that is what we call dedication, so sit back relax and get familiar with these acts.

ATO – “falling” ft. Vic Mensa

Leeds based rapper ATO links with Savemoney co-founder Vic Mensa on the cinematic single titled “falling.” The track is pretty off-beat with its wobbly synth and sparse arrangement all layered by ATO’s unique melodic flow and Mensa’s fiery performance. The visuals are built on a scenic excursion motif. Spliced between day and night scenes, his free-form approach to music visuals is solid and engaging.

“Falling” comes right in line with the release of ATO’s brand new project ‘EP3’, his first full-length project since 2017’s ‘Man of The House’. Get it on Spotify.

 

 

Foreign Beggars – “Young Kings & Queens” ft Maverick Sabre & Mali Hayes.

UK veteran hip-hop group Foreign Beggars team up with Maverick Sabre & Mali Hayes on the reflective track “Young Kings & Queens.” The heartfelt track has the classic soul/boom bap vibe peppered with poignant honest lyrics. The group takes it back to a more hip-hop-driven sound, harking back to the sounds and inspiration of their early days (produced by Seemore Beats). The video was shot in and around Manchester by Tarnish Vision and really captures the bittersweet essence of the song. Get the single & album pre-order here.

 

 

Vallé – “Star”

New Zealand Hip Hop and R&B artist, singer and songwriter VALLÉ makes his debut on our top list with the visuals for his recently released single “Star.” Produced by frequent collaborator and fellow New Zealand native Struan Finlay, ‘Star’ sees Vallé spilling out his heart and wearing it on his sleeves in typical Vallé fashion. Written immediately after an argument with his wife, the smooth and emotive track fuses rap and R&B together seamlessly, led by a glorious bass-heavy slow building musical backdrop, over which Vallé reminds himself of all the times his spouse and life partner has stood by him, as he pays homage to the ‘star’ that she is to him. “Star” is taken from his highly anticipated debut mixtape titled Care For Me, which is set for release on December 20.

 

 

Emmitt Dupree x DeLa Preme – “Stone Cold Steve Austin”

Emmitt Dupree teams up with fellow emcee DeLa Preme on a solid collabo titled “Stone Cold Steve Austin.” Backed by a broody trap beat by Uziedwards, the duo display lyrical prowess peppered with their life tribulations surrounding music and all the drama that comes from being young. “Stone Cold Steve Austin” is the lead single from Dupree’s EP dropping middle December. Dewey Da Don – “Keep It On Me”

Dewey Da Don opens up on the gritty “Keep It On Me” taken from his upcoming BlackTop Baby. The track sets the tone to the aforementioned project and displays Dewey’s intense lyricism with its raw unfiltered approach.

John Alex Harper – “Coupe de Ta”

 

Charlotte, North Carolina based emcee John Alex Harper details his life on the grind on his new track titled “Coupe de Ta.” Teaming with producer Ryan Peña. who laces the rapper with a soulful vocal sample and smooth drums to work with, “Coupe de Ta” follows Harper’s struggles to balance life as an artist and a regular 9 to 5.
“Coupe de Ta” is off of Harper’s brand new EP titled ‘Buoyant‘ and is entirely produced by Austin, TX native Ryan Peña.

Andrew Bigs – “Hustle Baby”

Andrew Bigs is back on his business as he drops a laid-back anthemic track entitled “Hustle Baby.” Backed by a solid bouncy backdrop courtesy of producer Rey Resurreccion, Bigs details his work ethic and how he doesn’t have time to horse around with negativity. The refrain used here has the classic call and response vibe and will surely keep the crowds moving.

TGIFLY – “Necessity”

Queens, NY based rapper TGIFLY goes back to the fundamentals on his new release “Necessity.” Armed with a passionate flow and unique penmanship he takes time to dwell on the rights and wrongs of a life and also pays homage to fallen Queens artist Stack Bundles. Get it on Tidal.

 

KOTH – “Inauguration”

KOTH serves a solid introductory track entitled “Inauguration.” Backed by a soulful but hard-hitting beat courtesy of Jester. The track sees KOTH flexing his lyrical muscles and goes for the jugular with precise wordplay and slick rhyme schemes. “Inauguration” is taken from KOTH’s recent EP Capitol. Get it on Apple Music.

Prime Sinister – “Prime Time” [Prod. Muckaniks]

Prime Sinister shares the animated video for his song “Prime Time.” Backed by a dark cinematic beat courtesy of world-class production maestro Muckaniks, Sinister dives into the dark side as he recounts stories of misery and triumph. Filled with abstract rhymes and metaphors, the song captivates and engages the listener from start to finish. The song is accompanied by a solid animation by Fadly Diputra who brings Sinister’s words to life.
