We are still dedicated to showcasing the best tracks/videos from the underground by searching far and wide in order to bring you our weekly list. It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Now that is what we call dedication, so sit back relax and get familiar with these acts.

A$AP Ferg – “Floor Seats”

A$AP Ferg teams up with Vevo on their new Ctrl series. Ferg gets into his bag as he performs his hard-hitting “Floor Seats”.  The official vid for the title track arrived a couple of weeks ago, and this live spin he threw down is pretty solid.”Floor Seats” is the title track of his upcoming EP.

 

 

 JuJu Rogers – “Babylon”

JuJu Rogers delivers the visual for his thought-provoking song titled “Babylon”. A solemn record that calls for self-discovery in individuals and society as a whole. Like the title says, he gives his own personal view on the state of world shackled by the corporates. JuJu Rogers is a rapper and artist, born to an American G.I. from New Orleans and a German mother with Austrian roots and grew up in between two worlds in the working-class city of Schweinfurt, Germany.

 

 

Fleezy – Breathin.

Rising emcee Fleezy shares an emotional tale on his new release titled “Breathin”. Backed by a smooth, solemn backdrop, he dwells on the struggles and tribulations of people around him and how no one really cares.

 

 

REMI – “5 A.M”. (Official Video)

REMI returns with the visual for their trippy single “5.A.M” featuring singer Whosane. The visual is pretty psychedelic and dark with its portrayal of REMI and whosane as Dr. Frankenstein and his Igors who work fervently in the lab to create what seems like a getaway drug but the ultimate result is pretty disastrous. The video was shot in an abandoned funeral parlor by Barun Chatterjee. get “5A.M” on all DSPs here.

 

 

 

C.Shreve the Professor – “Fresh Laundry”

North Carolina based MC C.Shreve the Professor teams up with New Zealand producer ThiefofBaghdad for this smooth head-nodding jam titled “Fresh Laundry”. The track sees C.Shreve the Professor in his element as he kicks bravado bars over the summery boom-bap backdrop. He says he was inspired by the fact that his studio shares the same space with a laundry area. The video was shot in this same space to really accentuate and visualize the message being passed.
Chris Shreve is the founder of the hip-hop collective Free the Optimus (FTO). and a senior lecturer at Appalachian State University by day.

Nate Shines – “Cypher Will Call” (Produced by Jon B).

Nate Shines (f/k/a N8E) returns with a new record titled “Cypher Will Call”. Produced by veteran RnB star Jon B, the track has a smooth head nodding vibe while Nate Shines dwell on the art of hip hop and how cyphers bridge gaps by bringing people together for the art, the culture, and the love of hip hop.

JorGMuziK – “Dream”

JorGMuziK‘s “Dream” aims to uplift and inspire the youths to think beyond what they see around them and rather look toward the sky. Over a solemn, piano-laden backdrop he details stories of struggles and tribulations and the possible happy ending.

 

 

 

Rmllw2llz – “Mood Ring”

Rmllw2llz switches up the vibe on his new release “Mood Ring”. He teams up with producer Q-Mystick who crafts a smooth solemn beat as Rmllw2llz takes time to pay homage to the lady that caught his eye.

 

 

 

Krept & Konan – “I Spy” (Remix) ft. Bugzy Malone, SL, Morrisson, Abra Cadabra, RV, Snap Capone.

Record-breaking rap duo Krept & Konan return with an all-star remix of their drill banger “I Spy” with its accompanying music video. Produced by BKay, the song features Bugsy Malone, SL, Morrisson, RV, Snap Capone and Abra Cadabra alongside Krept & Konan themselves.
The accompanying music video is directed by Wowa (Hardy Caprio, Ms Banks, Yxng Bane, Lady Leshurr) The original version is taken from the duo’s highly anticipated forthcoming second studio album.

 

 

Chuuwee – “September’s Very Own”

Chuuwee is back with a new jam titled “September’s Very Own”. The beta is very smooth and showcases Chuuwee’s fluid style that never disappoints. “September’s Very Own” is taken from Chuuwee’s new EP ‘Nimrod’
“The idea came after the Raptors won and Drake dropped that best in the world pack, I literally remade “Money In The Grave” to a CoopaTroop beat and when I was done writing I said “damn I’m gonna do some Drake sh*t for promo!” Hence why there’s so many 6 God nods” Chuuwee says.

 

 

Raffy Bushman, Nubiya Brandon & the nushape orchestra – “all kinds of limbo”

Raffy Bushman, Nubiya Brandon & the nushape orchestra team up for this epic piece titled “all kinds of limbo”. A blend of spoken word, dark orchestra textures, and head nodding reggae vibes. The 10 minute piece is pretty engaging from start to finish.
