Leonardo DiCaprio Met Salt Bae, 2017 Is Looking Up

div id=”body-content”> If you’ve been living under a rock for the past month, I’m jealous, but Instagram gave us the first and arguably best meme of 2017Salt Bae. If you disagree, you can cash me ousside. Salt Bae is more than a chef, more than a viral phenom, he’s a lifestyle. His real name is Nusret Gokce and he owns a restaurant in Dubai. Besides his incredible ability to rock what appears to be a cut-up Hanes V-neck T-shirt, a soul patch, and off-brand John Lennon sunglasses, he’s our knight in shining armor.

His specialty is sprinkling salt on meat. That might not seem like it’s enough to save us from the clusterfuck of the past month, but considering President Trump said a prayer for Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s ratings at the National Prayer Breakfast, the bar for success is pretty fucking low right now. In case you need a quick refresher, or you’re just really lonely and need an excuse to watch this man sensually season some meat so you can feel something again, here you go:

Anyway,Leo Dicaprio was in Dubaiand had dinner at Salt Bae’s restaurant. It’s unclear if he took a supermodel with him, but knowing Leo he probably did.

It’s pretty hard to tell if Leo is impressed, bored as shit, or just unbelievably hungover watching Salt Bae flamboyantly season a piece of meatguess that’s why he’s an Oscar-winning actor. Maybe they’re forming an “I was the subject of a viral meme” support groupGeorge W. Bush would probs be interested in joining. Regardless, this isn’t the celebrity meat-and-greet we needed (see what I did there?), but it’s the one we deserve.
