Things are looking up!
Apparently, the 39-year-old is focusing on his relationship with his wife, Kim Kardashian West. A source said:
“He has really shown up for a Kim in many ways. He [shows that] he values her as a mother and wife.”
Kanye has also found solace in his kids, North West and Saint West. The insider added:
“His children have always been his ‘safe place.’ They love him unconditionally, and he would drop [everything] for those two.”
Career-wise, things appear to be going as planned, with ‘Ye designing a jewelry line with Jacob the Jeweler and planning on creating a makeup collection (named after his mother and called Donda Cosmetics) as well. The source said:
“Kanye has a few surprise projects coming up that involve music and concerts in the spring and summer. Plus, he is working on his fashion line and some collaborations.”
However, his priorities lie with his family:
“His kids are his No.1 priority for him and he wants to be a good dad and make his mother proud. He thinks about her every day.”
It’s been almost ten years since Donda West died from complications following plastic surgery in 2007. The upcoming anniversary must certainly be on Kanye’s mind.
