James Gardin x Jahshua Smith x Terem share a heartwarming piece titled “Sad Black Boys”

By teckzilla Word Is Bond

“Sad Black Boys” is an insightful look into the less talked about subject of black men dealing with inner struggles. In a society where men are always portrayed as strong figures who hardly show emotions, the duo of James Gardin and Jahshua Smith come forth to show a more heartfelt and honest side to the story. Backed by the soulful piano-driven production courtesy of Terem, the rappers detail experiences of having to deal with depression, frustration and all the extra drama that comes along with it. The song helps to shed light on the issue which has been happening for decades but has always been given little to no attention.

Gardin says “The goal of this record is not to just leave people triggered and raw, but to jump-start an open dialogue once the music stops”.
