James Van Der Beek somehow made it through a very painfully awkward interview…
Making an appearance on the Thursday episode of British TV show This Morning, the star was meant to be promoting his Sky One show Carters Get Rich, only it was overshadowed by its very cringe-worthy start!
Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby introduced the actor by showing a clip of what some of his accomplished Dawson’s Creek costars have been up to in the 20 years since the show aired, and then they said:
“But what happened to the main man himself? He’s here now and this is what he looks like.”
And understandably, James is kind of offended by the condescending tone.
