Well, it had to happen eventually.
While President Barack Obama was busy giving his BFF Joe Biden the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Thursday afternoon, Donald Trump was off finally finding a famous friend of his own!
That’s because it was just announced that Paul Anka will reportedly be the headlining act at the impending apocalypse inauguration on January 20.

The Canadian-born crooner will join previously announced performers Jackie Evancho, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and (at least some of) The Rockettes for the Washington, D.C.-based event next week — that is, as long as the White House doesn’t get moved to New York City before then!
According to a Radar source, the 75-year-old music legend will be performing the song he wrote for Frank Sinatra, My Way,for Trump and his Conservative constituents. Although, we’re also hearing Paul’s planning on rewriting the lyrics to more closely resemble Donald’s demeanor.
May we suggest, Mein Way??
However, in typical Trump fashion, the source close to Paul’s production actually insulted other A-Listers who’ve refused to perform so far, saying:
“Paul was asked by the members of the Trump inauguration committee and he was only too happy to do it for his longtime friend. While everyone else was running scared from performing at the inauguration, Paul stood fast. He wasn’t about to be intimated by anyone.”
Yeah… Standing up to an open racist/sexist/all around bigot is definitely the definition of “running scared.”
But in all seriousness, Paul and the president-elect are longtime friends outside of politics — so if anyone was going to have to shower the new POTUS with song, we’re glad it’s someone voluntarily doing so.
Do U think Paul Anka is the right choice for Donald Trump’s inauguration??
