Once upon a time, Rick Ross and 50 Cent were engaged in one of hip hop’s most prolific rap beefs that lasted for years. When it all began depends on who you ask, but most agree that things began stirring between these two sometime in 2008. The following year, the pair traded disses in a lyrical battle before Fif interviewed the mother of Ross’s child. There were scathing interviews, cruel images and videos circulated on social media, and members of their entourages reportedly got into a scuffle. Ross was also sued by Fifty for sampling “In Da Club,” a case that was tossed out of court by a judge.
It’s been a few years since these two have taken public jabs at each other, and in light of Rozay hoping to end beefs between his friends (a la Lil Wayne and Pusha T), he said he’s not opposed to collaborating with 50 Cent…if Fif was still hot like he was back in the day. “Honestly, I’m a businessman,” Ross told Big Boy’s Neighborhood. “If 50 Cent still had value, I may have been done it, but not being funny. Not on no…he ain’t that dude no more.”
He added, “We was ridin’ through L.A. smokin’ to “Hate It or Love It” yesterday…that sh*t was dope. Salute to Cool & Dre, that’s Miami who did the production. Game, 50 Cent, that was dope. If he was still making music like that, of course. One of my dogs could hit me, Drake could hit me,” Ross continued. “And say Rozay, I got 50 on the record. If he was still dope like he was eight years ago, Rozay’ll lace that ’cause I’m on fire. It don’t matter who on the record.”
The estate of Nipsey Hussle is facing a brand new lawsuit over an unpaid credit card bill. According to The Blast, the rapper owed tens of thousands of dollars to American Express credit card. The bill never got paid so now, the credit card company is taking his estate to court. The company claimed, “The Decedent purchased goods and/or services in the amount of $46,930.67.” Hopefully, they could get things sorted out soon.
Unfortunately, this serves as the second lawsuit his estate’s faced over unpaid bills. Paramount Recording Group sued Nipsey Hussle after his death over $32K. They claimed that the money was owed from a judgment made in 2012 after the company won a legal battle against Nip. However, it didn’t take long for the company to drop the lawsuit against the rapper’s estate.
There hasn’t been an administrator named for the rapper’s estate but his brother, Blacc Sam, has requested to be in control of Nip’s estate. Sam and Nip were also business partners for The Marathon Clothing Store. Sam wanted to make sure that he could be the administrator so he would be able to make decisions on behalf of Nipsey for any sort of future business opportunities when it came to their numerous business ventures.
We’ll keep you posted on news regarding American Express’ lawsuit against Nipsey Hussle.
Tekashi 6ix9ine should be ready for public ridicule because there won’t be a single person f*cking with him when he gets out. As you’ve heard, 6ix9ine snitched on his co-defendants to get a lighter sentence. However, the sentencing won’t actually take place until next year. Until then, he’s locked behind bars. His girlfriend, Jade, took to Instagram recently to tease his release. She posted on Instagram claiming he’d be out in six months but The Blast reports that was a lie.
According to the outlet, 6ix9ine, nor Jade, have any idea when the rapper will be released from prison. Although she hinted he’d be out in six months, that’s not necessarily true. It’s not even confirmed yet but there’s a high probability his sentencing will take place next January. The judge will most likely receive a letter by the U.S. Attorney who will break down how much 6ix9ine actually cooperated in the case. The letter will likely have an impact on the judge’s opinion on how much time 6ix9ine’s serves. There’s a chance he could even be sentenced to time served.
Jade’s post went viral but she’s since edited the caption to read, “These jail calls are serious.” It looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what happens when 6ix9ine’s sentenced.
We’ll keep you updated on his case.
Earlier this year, Donovan McNabb tried to make the case that he belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame thanks to his achievements with the Philadelphia Eagles. While McNabb was a star during his prime, he was never able to win a championship. McNabb said that his stats are better than Troy Aikman which he feels is enough to put him amongst the best players to ever grace the field.
“When they look at my numbers, yeah, but then they always want to add other stuff into it. ‘Was he an All-Pro? Was he this? How many Super Bowl opportunities?'” McNabb said. “But, people don’t realize how hard it is to get to the NFC Championship and to get there five times, and then make it to a Super Bowl? It’s tough.”
Today, McNabb’s former coach Andy Reid was asked about whether or not he belongs in the Hall of Fame and as it turns out, Reid had nothing but good things to say. The Chiefs head coach explained that McNabb does, in fact, deserve the honor and that he was a revolutionary QB at the time.
“I’m his biggest fan,” Reid said via TMZ. “I was there. I know he belongs there. When you talk about the great players in the National Football League, five championship games, a Super Bowl, all those things.”
Where do you fall on this issue? Does McNabb belong in the Hall of Fame or will he never receive the honor?

Rick Ross has always had a pretty solid relationship with Young Money. However, the situation that Birdman put Lil Wayne in left a bad taste in his mouth. “Idols Become Rivals” put those feelings on wax. Rick Ross called out Birdman on the track but according to the Boss himself, it’s over and done with.
Rozay sat down with Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed on Real 92.3 recently where he discussed his bars for Birdman. “I spoke my mind and I feel like as artists and businessmen, you say what you gotta say… and move forward,” he said. “Because ain’t no money in that. Ain’t no business in that.” Rozay confirmed that he hasn’t had words with Birdman since the release of the song. Despite calling Stunna out, he said he still has love for him but it’s his treatment of Wayne that led him to come to Wayne’s defense.
Even though Rick Ross regards Wayne as one of his good friends, he also explained his decision to connect Push and Weezy on “Maybach Music VI.” A song that could be regarded as one of the biggest joints of the year, if it’s released. Rozay explained that it’s deeper than just getting the two rappers on the same song. Behind the song is politics and the song won’t come out if Wayne and Pusha’s respective teams don’t clear it.

Kawhi Leonard was perhaps the biggest name in NBA free agency this Summer which is saying something when you consider how Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Kemba Walker were all free agents as well. In the end, Leonard ended up going to the Los Angeles Clippers who were also able to trade for Paul George. The Clippers are now favorites to make it out of the Western Conference and fans are excited to finally see a team that could one day win a championship. As for the other L.A. team, the Lakers are no slouches themselves as they boast the services of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Davis was recently on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he got to talk about his new team. At one point, Kimmel asked about Leonard and how he decided not to go to the Lakers. As Davis explained, had Leonard gone to the purple and gold, they would have become an all-time great team.
“You could have marked it up as champions right there,” Davis said adding that he’s not worried about the Clippers. “The Staples Center is going to be a lot of fun this year. Obviously we brought a lot of excitement back to the Lakers organization…and every night going into the Staples—especially against the Clippers—is going to be a battle. We’re excited about it.”
Heading into next season, there is no denying that the Clippers and Lakers rivalry will be the best its ever been.
The custody drama between Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez is seemingly never-ending. Stevie first petitioned for custody of his almost-three-year-old daughter Bonnie, citing his home conditions being a better environment for his offspring. Joseline clapped back telling him she’s a fine parent despite her lower-income and asked for him to pay more child support.
The duo headed to court last week to settle the matter and according to Bossip, Stevie was granted with access to see his daughter on a court order. The “A Minute” music maker reportedly flew to Miami to see Bonnie with some family members to rekindle their relationship but Joseline blocked him for seeing her, still. According to the publication, Stevie was supposed to take her to school, hang out with her in class and then have her back home by 7 PM but it didn’t happen.
Stevie is now requesting an emergency court date and wants his ex to reimburse him for his flight to Miami as well as his lawyer fees. Joseline still hasn’t responded to Stevie’s allegations, but by the looks of how things have been going, she may come back with a completely different story prolonging the case.
Poor Bonnie.
