Cardi B Turns Up To Kanye West & Lil Pump's "I Love It" For New Year's Eve

Cardi B’s currently basking in the new year of 2019 since she’s over in Australia and made the trip for a scheduled New Year’s Eve performance. The “Money” rapper hasn’t had the best experience so far since we previously reported that she cited racism and had to handle a woman getting nasty with her because she didn’t pose for a photo.

“So as soon as I got here, you know, paparazzi’s all in my face, and I get that, I understand that,” Cardi said of the situation. “But what didn’t sit well with me was this man telling me, ‘You’re in Australia now…you’re playing by our rules.'”

It looks like things are now looking up since Cardi posted a photo of herself dancing along to Kanye West’s and Lil Pump’s “I Love It” seemingly having the best time. “Since I’m 16 hours ahead I celebrated New Years a couple of hours ago …..I need a Advil now!!! 2018 was the good, bad and the ugly year 2019 I’m coming for you bitch😈😈😈😈 AUSTRALIA!,” she captioned the video

Comments Awards caught a note left by Kim Kardashian, insinuating a possible remix of the song with Cardi B. We can’t say for sure if Cardi, Ye or Pump will follow-up on the idea but we’d be down for it either way.

Reginae Carter Angers Fans With Smooching YFN Lucci Photo

Reginae Carter has recently announced that she would be taking some time away from her boyfriend YFN Lucci to focus on her own career. Her separation from the rapper did not last that long as they have been celebrating together during this holiday season. Carter shared a glimpse into their renewed connection via social media, a photo her following received with mixed feelings.

The picture shows Lucci kissing her on the cheek as she sits pretty and smiles. Reginae captioned her post with affection: “He looked at her the way all women want to be looked at by a man “

Of course, her fans are truly invested in her personal life and commented with opinions ranging from joy and appreciation to discouragement and outright insults. Reginae had already received a lot of flack from her mom who disapproved of her relationship with Lucci due to his being substantially older than her daughter. Their romance continued despite protests from her family’s matriarch so the criticism being thrown at the young reality television star probably won’t deter her from following her heart in the New Year. After all, a “break” usually does entail a reconciliation. Haters might as well act like they know.

Daylyt On Kanye West/Drake Feud: "Best I Ever Had" Video & Publicity Stunts

Kanye West has recently reignited his feud with Drake via Twitter, causing both artists to be included in headlines over the past few weeks. Daylyt recently weighed in on the beef during a sitdown with VladTV. View the clip below.

“I like Kanye. I’m kinda on the fence on Kanye. At first, I used to believe that he had a message,” Daylyt began. “I used to believe he had a purpose. I was like, maybe he’s trolling because he has an actual message.” He does not see the reemergence of their rivalry as a coincidence. “There’s all type of sh*t blowing up that’s taking over the internet. Random a beef that ended just pop back up,” he added. “I think these people just get on the phone like, ‘let’s do this.'”

“When you at the top of the game like that, some of these rappers can’t go too long without people talking about ’em. Comment and Instagram likes, and all that sh*t, that sh*t feeds some people’s energy.” Daylyt still speculated about the origin of the feud, citing Kanye’s video concept for Drake’s “Best I Ever Had.” He said with a smirk, “I think Kanye was like, ‘Imma ruin this n*gga'”

Jerry Lorenzo Made A Special Air Fear Of God 1 Colorway For His Alma Mater

Jerry Lorenzo’s collaboration with Nike, particularly the Nike Air Fear Of God 1, has been turning heads in the sneaker community. The fresh design brings Lorenzo’s Fear Of God flavor to an all-new silhouette that combines function and fashion. While only a couple of colorways have released so far, there are others in the works, including a nod to Lorenzo’s former alma mater Florida A&M University.

The Fear Of God creator took to Instagram to show off an orange and light bone colorway of his signature shoe. In the post, Lorenzo says “in an era of leaks, i’m not mad this colorway made the light of day… i actually love this orange box color cage and bone upper vibe… this shoe for was made for @famu_1887 mens/womens hoop teams…”

Lorenzo continued by saying that back when he played at the school, everyone wore whatever they could afford and nobody coordinated their shoe colors. He said he’s not sure if the kicks will ever see the light of day but he did reflect on why he made these saying “I said if i ever get the opportunity i’m going to make @famuathletics what michicgan and the fab 5 were to me in college or what orgegon is to kids today… so anyhow, this is a just a sample from that train of thought.”

According to Lorenzo’s post, there are 20 to 30 other colorways of the shoe that have been produced as a sample, but there are currently no plans to release them just yet.

Jessie J Pays Tribute To Her Body Guard After His Sudden Death

The end of 2018 was marked with a tragic loss for Jessie J. She announced the death of her bodyguard, Dave, this past Sunday, December 30. The man, who also happened to be a father, passed away suddenly. The cause of his death has yet to be made public.

The pop star shared some memories of her loved one by posting video clips of the pair to Instagram. Along with the endearing footage, Jessie recalled her friend’s loving character. She calls him her “rock” and a “gentle giant.”

“The way we laughed. I keep going back to that. We had so much fun,” The Voice star wrote. “Your love for your dogs. Your love for tattoos. Your love for traveling. Your gentleness. Your voice. The way you stuck by me when everyone else left. It was me and you in Aus.”

She remembers Dave holding her hand during a turbulent flight as they headed to London from Dubai along with other moments that testified to his caring nature. “I miss you. I will see you on the other side one day. Rest easy Dave / give your Dad a hug from me,” Jessie J added. “You weren’t just my security, we ARE family.”

Joe Budden Marvels At The Difference A Year Can Make

When Joe Budden first landed a gig as a co-host of Complex’ Everyday Struggle, many were curious about where the rapper-turned-media-personality was headed. Fans familiar with Joe’s brand were doubtless aware of his eponymous podcast, but seeing him trading insight with Akademiks and Nadeska was a different, though no less entertaining beast altogether. Sadly, Budden’s tenure on Everyday Struggle came to an unfortunate end, as he failed to negotiate a mutually beneficial deal with the powers that be. Upon parting ways with the show, Budden found himself heading into 2018 unemployed.

Now, as yet another new year stands on the horizon, Budden has taken a moment to reflect on his various fortunes. Not only is the man sitting on five different businesses, including a Spotify-exclusive podcast and a Revolt series, but Budden’s personal life has also been flourishing. The once-rapper has officially proposed to longtime girlfriend Cyn Santana, with whom he has a young son, Lexington. Congratulations to Joe Budden, who continues to rack up wins on his own terms.

8Ball & MJG Return To The Fold With "Take A Picture"

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from the legendary duo 8Ball & MJG, who once played a pivotal role in putting Memphis hip-hop on the map during the early nineties. Now, over twenty-five years later, the pair have come through with yet another banger for the collection. The track in question, “Take A Picture,” arrives alongside their new live album Classic Pimpin. It quickly becomes evident that both rappers have remained sharp throughout their veteran years, as 8Bell sets it off with a rapid-fire dose of Southern hospitality.

“Weed stickin to my fingers, I love how the smell lingers,” raps 8Ball, “studio we makin’ bangers, pimp poetic fuckin’ genius.” MJG comes through with the closing verse, showcasing that he can likely outflow many of today’s most prominent hitmakers. “Been in the game for a minute, a lot of you haters wish we would throw it in,” he raps, “the towel, but how would the game really be without real n***as in it?”

Check out the new single now, and be sure to support 8Ball & MJG, two legends at work.

Quotable Lyrics

Been in the game for a minute
A lot of you haters wish we would throw it in, the towel
But how would the game really be without real n***as in it?
What would it be? A world without no 8Ball & G?
You kiddin’ right, you fuckin with me!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Bought His Mom A House For Christmas: "Surprise!"

If you were to get rich and famous, what would be the most satisfying purchase to make? It’s likely that almost everyone on earth would have a similar response: “buy my Mom a house!” The Rock, otherwise known as Dwayne Johnson, has done just that.

He posted a video on Instagram that captures the moment his mom opens his card (which is a voucher for a “brand new home”) and begins to laugh and cry. Johnson reminisces about his childhood too and how he wanted to get his mom a stable place in one location: “all our lives growing up we lived in little apartments all across the country. Lived like gypsies on the road from one state to another.”

Johnson has been rich since his WWE days and so this isn’t the first home he’s bought his mom (“the first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999”), but “the house this time is a special one and the timing is very meaningful.
I told her to treat this card like it’s ‘Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket’ because she gets to choose any home she wants – anywhere she wants.”

Kevin Spacey Continues Strange Week, Delivers Pizza To Paparazzi

Kevin Spacey broke his radio silence last week with a strange video after going underground for a whole year following the accusations of sexual assault levelled against him. Two days ago, he appeared in public for the first time since the accusations. Today, he's been seen in public again but this time, he delivered pizza to a paparazzi photographer who was trailing him in Baltimore, where he's staying as he awaits trial. All that can be heard of Spacey is him telling the photographer: "...not a big deal, I appreciate what you're doing" and "try to stay warm and have a happy new year." Spacey's gestures look conciliatory–he bows, puts his hands together–suggesting that the pizza is a peace offering, coming after some sort of altercation between the two (watch it here)Photo: Splash NewsIf you look closer at his hat, it says "retired since 2017" on it, which seems to be an attempt at a sly joke about his fall from grace after being accused of multiple accounts of sexual assault in the year 2017. Aside from being in bad taste, the hat has a similarly strange vibe as the video he posted on Christmas eve, where he wears a Christmas-themed apron and delivers a monologue in-character as Frank Underwood of House Of Cards, saying things like "Only you and I both know it’s never that simple, not in politics and not in life. If I didn’t pay the price for the things we both know I did do, I’m certainly not going to pay the price for the things I didn’t do.” Watch the full video, called "Let Me Be Frank," below:

Anderson .Paak & Andre 3000 Kick Back In The Studio

Another day, another piece of evidence that “real recognize real” is indeed a genuine principle. Upon releasing his Aftermath-produced Oxnard album in November, Anderson .Paak has been reaping the benefits of a job well done. Though the project has been divisive among his longtime fans, Paak’s latest has come to be genuinely favored, with many praising the rapper’s diverse artistry and musical acumen. In fact, being an accomplished drummer in his own right, it’s safe to say that .Paak stands alongside the rap game’s best musicians.

In that sense, it’s no surprise to see Paak and Andre 3000 link up in the studio, if only to chop it up as buds. Of course, Three Stacks has been “retired” for a minute, so to suggest a brewing collaboration feels disingenuous until proven otherwise. Still, .Paak’s caption of “Future looking bright” seems to indicate a positive change brought on by Andre’s company; perhaps the OutKast legend has taken a vested interest in Paak’s career, not unlike Dr. Dre before him.

Either way, the picture is a great hip-hop shot, and one has to wonder what exchanges transpired at this meeting of the minds. Peep the image below.
